Fund Accountant M/F/X

We are seeking a Fund Accountant to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accounting records and producing financial statements for various funds. The Fund Accountant will work closely with other members of the accounting team, as well as with the investment and operations teams.

• Prepare and maintain accounting records for various funds, including general ledger entries, trial balances, and financial statements.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Reconcile cash, investments, and other assets and liabilities for various funds.

• Monitor and record fund expenses and fees.

• Prepare tax returns and other regulatory filings for various funds.

• Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely completion of annual audits.

• Assist with the preparation of investor reports and respond to investor inquiries.

• Monitor and evaluate fund performance and prepare reports for management.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in fund accounting

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Fluent in french and good command in english

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
